She lives and works at L’Aquila and Rome. She graduated in Painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti of L’Aquila and then specialized in Historical-Artistic Cultural Heritage. She studied under Fabio Mauri, thanks to whom she participated in the Gran Serata Futuristica in Teatro Goldoni in Venice in 1986. From 1988 to 1991 she was the assistant of Piero Pizzi Cannella in his studio in Via degli Ausoni, Rome.
Her research is characterized by constant reference to the aesthetic-conceptual problems centred on the perception and comprehension of space-time, within the limits of its artistic definability and its continual evolution and mutation of shapes and relations. The year 2005 was marked by the beginning of an artistic collaboration with composer Michelangelo Lupone, with whom she realized innovative works able to conform to the environment and interact with the public, and Centro Ricerche Musicali – CRM.
Among the exhibitions realized by Galizia in collaboration with Lupone and CRM: Goethe-Institut, Roma; Italian Institute of Culture, Belgrade; Ara Pacis Museum, Roma; Parco della Musica, Roma; Palazzo dell’Emiciclo, L’Aquila; Bilotti Museum, Roma; MACRO, Roma; Moder Art Museum of Il Cairo; Istituto Tomie Ohtake, Centre for contemporary art, Sao Paulo do Brasil; Museum of musical instruments of the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia, Parco della Musica, Roma; National Gallery of Modern Art and Italian Embassy in New Delhi, India; Galleria Anna Marra Contemporanea, Roma; European Parliament in Strasburgo. In September 2024, again with Michelangelo Lupone, she created the permanent adaptive musical sculpture for No Man’s Foundation in Loreto Aprutino (PE), entitled Al vento.
His works are present in institutional places (Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Farnesina Collection) Embassies and Consulates (Istanbul, Lima, Colombo, Hanoi, New Delhi, Montevideo, New York)
